Fresh baked idea |
|
|
Janell Crosby of The Cookie Boutique keeps the cookies away from Cornerstone Bank’s Jeff Hamilton and Carla Harvey.
Janell Crosby, a third grade teacher for 17 years, recalled all those nights of baking cookies at 3 a.m. and one day the idea hit her: why not make a business out of cookies? She researched, developed a business plan, found a location, and had everything she needed, except a bank loan. The only visit she made was to see Jeff Hamilton at Cornerstone.
Every detail of the loan was delivered with precision. “As soon as I visited the bank, I was introduced to people throughout the office, and from the first day every single person has called me by name,” Janell says of the experience. “They’re always smiling, and it’s genuine. They want me to do well and they’re behind me every step.” Has your bank gotten stale, or lost that sense of fun? Call Jeff Hamilton for loans and Carla Harvey for customer service at 243-5588. The experience is as warm as cookies fresh from the oven.
“I knew Cornerstone worked with small businesses, including start-up businesses. They answered every question and gave good advice.” – Janell Crosby
